THE RAINCROSS SERVICE AWARD IS A SPECIAL RECOGNITION PRESENTED TO A LOCAL VOLUNTEER WHO HAS GIVEN FIVE OR MORE YEARS OF SERVICE TO A WORTHY ORGANIZATION IN RIVERSIDE.
HOW THE WINNER IS CHOSEN
Members of Soroptimist International of Riverside will submit suggestions of worthy organizations and the Raincross Service Award Committee will select one of the organizations.
The selected organization's personnel will choose a woman from Riverside that they recognize as an amazing volunteer in their organization. She must have made a significant contribution to the Riverside community through their organization and volunteered a minimum of five years at the establishment. Additionally, her volunteer work must benefit women and girls in addition to others.
The winner of the Raincross Service Award will be presented with a framed certificate at Soroptimist International of Riverside's "Salute to Service Awards" event.
